Client Testimonials

Susannah has played a pivotal role in the delivery of our mainstream training programmes across the UK over the last 10 years. She has a strong, sound relationship with Experian and her knowledge and expertise of our company is valuable. Susannah has worked alongside several divisions within the company focusing on management development, individual development and performance management.

Susannah is a knowledgeable and experienced facilitator who links the connection of business demands and individual demands well to achieve some key outputs and changes in individuals.  She is professional and works well with individuals at all levels in the business by having a flexible and inspiring approach.

Our business rarely gets to work with people as talented and high-impact as Susannah from Tomato Inc. I engaged Susannah to work with me on a series of ‘leadership development’ challenges which were absolutely vital to lead our sales and marketing effectiveness from ‘good to great’; notably personal (leadership) impact and management of high performance.  She worked with us to devise a co-ordinated programme, involving 1-2-1 time with leaders and facilitated sessions.  Over a period of days and weeks, we could see a noticeable positive difference in the individuals concerned.  Over a period of months, results improved to ‘great’ and employee engagement improved largely through improved leadership impact.

I can genuinely attribute a large part of that sustained improvement to Susannah’s work.  She is very engaging, challenging where appropriate and committed to making a positive difference.

“Susannah is a lady of many talents and a pleasure to work with.  She fully understands the Bedfordia Group, its people and its values through working closely with HR and management teams over the last 10 years.  Susannah’s strengths are her personality, her ability to coach and give feedback and her passion for personal development and improvement.  She has to be one of the most genuine and insightful people that I know.  Susannah was well established working with the Bedfordia Group, prior to my arrival as Group HR Manager.  She had supported the Group (in particular the Automotive Division) in developing a performance management and development framework and a Management Development Programme, which was highly regarded across the businesses.  Since my arrival Susannah and I worked closely together to develop a new performance management and development framework called Striving for Excellence; which has ensured that the Bedfordia Values are an integral part of how we operate, manage and develop our people.   Susannah also designed a Recruitment Assessment Centre for HR professionals and supported me in the process of selecting and coaching a newly formed HR team – a job not to be under-estimated.”

I met with Susannah about 2 ½ years ago after experiencing some difficulty integrating into a new company with a different culture. Although I was quite nervous at the beginning and had lost some of my confidence, this was very quickly re-established by Susannah with her very supportive style which I quickly warmed too.

Susannah gave some great suggestions on how to deal with difficult individuals and she also helped me to understand the importance of stakeholder mapping and influencing.
Finally, just over a week ago I was promoted into a new global role within the organisation. Without the support of Susannah I do not think this would have been possible.

The Board of Kier Eastern engaged Susannah Paybody of Tomato Inc to review our annual performance review process that had been in place for over 10 years. After a series of meetings with the Directors Susannah proposed that Kier Eastern move forward with a more dynamic conversational style of performance management where employees are encouraged to take ownership of their development programmes. The board accepted Susannah’s proposals and requested that she facilitated the introduction of the new approach. The introduction programme was completed over a six month period and it necessitated Susannah delivering a series of interactive seminars to ensure employees grasped the underlying message of this business driven initiative.

It is the board’s opinion that since the introduction of Performance Management we have seen improved manager / employee relationships, an increase in morale and our managers have been able to professionally resolve some performance issues. We are convinced that this has improved our efficiency and therefore the bottom line.

Kier Construction Eastern rolled out performance management training to senior managers in 2010, Susannah provided and facilitated the training programme and has been in touch on a number of occasions since to gain feedback on the success of the programme. Susannah has a very practical approach to performance management training and I have no hesitation in recommending her services to others.

Susannah held Maximising Performance Workshops for all our managers in BMW & MINI and followed up with guidance in coaching and feedback. The result has been amazing with regular communication high on the agenda of all team members. This has raised the bar in maximising potential of all employees and the results are clearly visible in customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and in a difficult market place we have exceeded budget.

The workshops were designed to share best practice across the group with lots of delegate participation. Everyone who attended commented on the fact that they enjoyed the course and got so much out of the day.

The follow up and support continued following workshops which helped managers to put into practice what they had learnt. They all felt able to approach Susannah for additional help and guidance and 1:1 and follow up visits were offered and taken up with great success.

Sytner is proud to be a “Best Company to Do Business with” and “Best Company to Work for” the training and coaching offered from Susannah certainly fit in with our vision and helped us achieve success
